  21.     This program is USER SUPPORTED.  You are encouraged to copy the 
  22. Personality Analysis System diskette and give it to your friends and 
  23. acquaintences.  You may use this program freely and distribute it as 
  24. you wish.  However, the following restrictions do apply: 
  25.     1. You may not charge a fee for this program, other than for 
  26.        the cost of duplication.  
  27.     2. You may not alter the program or supporting items in any 
  28.        manner.  
  29.     3. You may not copy or reproduce in any way the instruction 
  30.        manual that is available for this program.  
  31.     4. If you are a shareware distributor, you must obtain the
  32.        most current version from our company and sign a
  33.        distribution license agreement.

  35.     PAS is very easy to use.  You do not need an instruction manual to 
  36. operate it.  However, the manual allows you to gain greater benefit

  87.     The PERSONALITY ANALYSIS SYSTEM is a highly-accurate personality 
  88. analysis system that is designed to help the individual better 
  89. understand his own personality and those of friends, acquaintances and 
  90. loved ones.  
  91.     PAS is based on the same principles and report system as the 
  92. EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM but has been modified to work more on the 
  93. personal and business rather than strictly business level.  PAS can 
  94. help in several ways:
  95.     1. The program is extremely accurate.  Trained and licensed 
  96. psychologists and psychiatrists have marvelled at the sophistication 
  97. and accuracy of such a low-cost program.
  98.     2. PAS helps you know yourself by describing your strenths, 
  99. motivational factors and demotivational factors.  Knowing these things 
  100. can help you improve yourself as a person.  You can also work with 
  101. your strengths and build them to your advantage.

  135.                          OPERATING THE PROGRAM
  136.     First of all, copy this program to another diskette, or your hard 
  137. disk as indicated in the PASARC.DOC file.

  142.     To receive your personality analysis, copy the file PASSHEET to 
  143. your printer by using the command:   COPY PASSHEET PRN 
  144.  
  145.     Fill out the sheet.  Call up PAS by typing in its name, then fill 
  146. in the responses you have indicated.  PAS will then produce a 5-page 
  147. report. 
  148.  
  149.     This is a fully operational program.  It is intended to let you 
  150. see the efficiency and accuracy of PAS.  Trained and licensed 
  151. psychologists and psychiatrists have marvelled at the efficiency of 
  152. PAS.  
  153.     PAS is based on the same principles as the program EMPLOYEE 
  154. MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.  Whereas EMS is intended for use primarily in the 
  155. business area, PAS is more for personal as well as business use.

  188.             WHAT ABOUT ACCURACY AND VALIDITY FACTORS? 
  189.  
  190.     We do not offer "validity factors" on this system.  For one thing, 
  191. this program has a licensing fee of only $95.00.  Compared with other 
  192. systems costing thousands of dollars, PAS is an amazingly good deal.  
  193. There are plenty of EXPENSIVE psychology programs that have all the 
  194. statistics you may want.  If you need such, then pay more.  We simply 
  195. do not have the manpower or the finances to hire a staff of 
  196. psychologists every year to check the validity of the program.  That 
  197. does not however, mean that the program isn't accurate.  
  198.     In our tests (and we have tested this system on a LOT of people), 
  199. we have found PAS to have an accuracy above 85%.  That does not mean 
  200. it will only work for 85% of the people; it means that it will portray 
  201. each individual with 85% or better accuracy.  In most cases, 95% or 
  202. better is achieved.  
  203.     Sometimes you may seem to get a "conflicting" report.  You may 
  204. find a report that says in one place that a person is "Cautious", 
  205. while in another place it says the person is "Daring".  This would 
  206. appear to be a conflict.  However, this is not necessarily the case.  
  207. If a person was NOT cautious and was daring, he would jump into any 
  208. situation without foresight.  However, a person who available, then be 
  209. IS cautious and yet daring, is one who will get all the facts willing 
  210. to take a chance based on an educated decision.  You've heard the term 
  211. "calculated risk"?  Cautious daring.  
  212.     Consider:  You have a choice between doing what everyone is doing 
  213. and guessing at people's mental needs (which obviously doesn't work 
  214. too well) or using PAS to get a very good idea of who you are and the 
  215. manner in which to interract with people around you.  Which would you 
  216. prefer?

  225. ARTICLE 1. ACCEPTANCE.
  226.     In registering for the program, "The Personality Analysis System", 
  227. the user agrees to abide by all articles and restrictions of this 
  228. license. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to note the items 
  229. of this license, and decide upon agreeability of its terms prior to 
  230. the registration of the program.

  232. ARTICLE 2. LICENSING.  
  233.     This program is licensed, not sold. As such, the user/ purchaser 
  234. has the right to use the program on a day-to-day basis, but recognizes 
  235. the ownership of the program and all materials as belonging to Dennis 
  236. Drew.

  238. ARTICLE 3. COPYING AND MULTI-USER.
  239.     This program is USER SUPPORTED.  You are encouraged to copy the 
  240. Personality Analysis System diskette and give it to your friends and 
  241. acquaintences.  You may use this program freely and distribute it as

  258. ARTICLE 4. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY.
  259.      It is the responsibility of the purchaser to decide upon 
  260. usability and application of this program to his/her particular needs. 
  261. Every effort has been made to insure the accuracy and reliability of 
  262. this program. However, since the success of this program relies a 
  263. great deal upon individual use and dedication to the use thereof, and 
  264. the fact that this program is user copiable (thus limiting our control 
  265. over what the end-user receives), We will not be held responsible for 
  266. any results obtained from the direct or indirect use of this program.

  271. ARTICLE 5. TERMINATION.
  272.      If the user/purchaser breaks any article of this agreement, all 
  273. items pertaining to The Personality Analysis System shall be returned 
  274. to the publisher. This will not exclude any additional punitive 
  275. damages incurred according to national and civil laws.

  287.      If your diskette is damaged in any way, return it to us along 
  288. with $10.00 to cover cost of replacement. We will rush you a new 
  289. diskette.  
  290.      It is recognized that the purchaser is already bound by the terms 
  291. of the LICENSING AGREEMENT enclosed with this package. This 
  292. registration form serves two purposes: 
  293.      1. To emphasize agreement with the terms of the license.
